GENERALLY
All transactions shall be deemed to be governed by English law.
The prints are sold as digitally reproductions of original works as described below, and there may be some slight variation between what appears on your computer screen and the finished artwork. This is because the images on screen are at a lower density (for copyright reasons) to the printed artworks.
Price & availability are subject to change.
Conceptualpainting.Com shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under if caused by matters beyond our reasonable control.
METHOD OF PAYMENT
Customers credit/debit card details are strictly private, and transactions will be handled by Paypal.
Please make sure that only the correct details are registered, especially name and address for delivery.
We are advised to charge VAT (currently at 17.5% and governed by the destination of the goods) on all orders despatched. VAT is applicable on all transactions in the UK/Europe. Customers outside UK/Europe are not subject to VAT, but need to advise us within 21 days that they are not liable for VAT (by e-mail or post) so that we can refund the VAT. Some customers (outside UK/Europe) may however be to subject to local import duties and taxes, but will need to make their own arrangement in respect of these.
All customer information will be treated in the strictest confidence.
DISCOUNTS
Discounts are as follows:-
Orders over £500.00 (excluding postage & packaging & VAT) - 5%
Orders over £1000.00 00 (excluding postage & packaging & VAT) - 10%
RETURNS POLICY
Should you not be satisfied with your order, return it to us within 10 days of receipt for replacement or a refund, excluding delivery charges. The following conditions apply:-
(a) We must be notified by E-mail before returning the goods.
(b) Goods must be returned in undamaged condition, carefully repacked in the original packaging.
(c) The goods must be returned to us by a reputable courier.
(d) We cannot unfortunately, refund the shipping costs for orders delivered outside the UK, unless the product is faulty or damaged.
(e) Once we receive your returned order, we will replace or refund as required. Refunds are normally processed within 7 days, but please allow 28 days.
(f) Returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice, so we can process matter much easier.
(g) After 10 days we reserve the right to refuse unwanted goods, or at our discretion, take the goods back and charge you a re-stocking fee.
DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE GOODS
Upon receipt of your order, please check the goods carefully, as any damaged or defective goods must be reported to us within 2 days of receipt.
You are responsible for returning the goods to us. You must take responsible care of the goods. We advise that all returned items are sent by recorded and insured post, as we are not responsible for claiming damaged from if a courier damaged goods in transit to us.
POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
All orders are sent out from out London printers using UK courier and postage rates.
Paper prints are despatched in cardboard tubes.
Framed paper prints/stretched canvas/or stretched canvas within an external timber frame are all sent out individually bubble wrapped inside strong double layer cardboard boxes.
Customers may find it more convenient save postage costs by collecting their orders in person from our printers based in Stratford, London, E15.

All information given to us during the registration or ordering process will be well protected. All information is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. No personal data supplied will be disclosed to another party without your express permission.

THE MANUFACTURE OF YOUR PRODUCT
PHOTOGRAPHIC TECHNICAL INFORMATION
My acrylic on board paintings were originally executed in two sizes, 16 x 24 & 32 x 24 inches. Then the paintings are photographed on a 12.8 Mega pixel camera. The pictures are saved at 200 pixels per linear inch, and as JPEG file in CMYK format, and saved in Photoshop. Generally the small pictures (16 x 24 inches) are 61 megabytes, whilst the larger pictures (32 x 24 inches) are 120 megabytes
PAPER PRINTS
The image is then printed digitally onto 180 gsm matt paper. The finished sizes can be either A2/A1orAO.
The A2 size print contains the image has a white margin to top and both sides of 10mm, whilst the base has a white margin of 30mm which carries the title and description of the artwork.
The A1 size print contains the image has a white margin to top and both sides of 15mm, whilst the base has a white margin of 40mm which carries the title and description of the artwork.
The AO size print contains the image has a white margin to top and both sides of 15mm, whilst the base has a white margin of 40mm which carries the title and description of the artwork.
FRAMED PAPER PRINTS
The paper print is framed using top quality pine size approx 40 x 20mm, cut to size, including wooden wedges, 2.5mm MDF backing board, 2mm Perspex to front, and 2mm white mounting board cut with bevelled edge, including finished at back with 50mm brown tape and ready to hang.
STRETCHED CANVAS PRINTS
The image is printed digitally onto 350 gsm matt artist’s canvas, and sprayed to protect against fading by UV light.
The finished sizes can be either A2/A1 or AO as above. The canvas is then stretched over top quality pine size approx 40 x 20mm, secured with pins to pine and finished at back with 50mm brown tape and ready to hang. Image overlaps slightly to sides.
FRAMING OF STRETCHED CANVAS PRINTS
As stretched canvas above, with additional outer frame in top quality pine finished in black, mahogany or gold, to customers requirements. All secured into outer frame using Z clips into rebate, and finished off with 50mm brown tape and ready to hang.
The A2 size will use 50mm wide pine, the A1 and AO will use 75mm wide pine.
The framing is carried out by a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild.
